Employees’ State Insurance Corporation was formed by the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948 under Government of India. The scheme was inaugurated on February 24, 1952 by then Prime Minister Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru. Dr. C. L. Katial was the first Director General of Employees’ State Insurance Corporation. The scheme was simultaneoulsy launched in the state of Delhi. The corporation was started with the aim of providing health insuarnce scheme for factory workers. The coproration has emerged as a self financing social security scheme in recent times.

Job Profile:

Employees’ State Insurance Corporation is looking forward to recruit eligible and qualified candidates for filling up the vacant positions of Upper Division Clerk and Multitasking Staff. Only online application are invited from eliginle Indian Nationals. Selected candidates will be recruited in the Regional Office of Employees’ State Insurance Corporation located at Madhya Pradesh.

Eligibility:

For the post of Upper Division Clerk: Candidates are required to have age more than the prescribed minimum age limit i.e. 18 years but not more than the prescribed maximum age limit i.e. 27 years.

For the post of Multitasking Staff: Interested candidates should have age more than 18 years but not more than the prescribed maximum age limit i.e. 25 years as on 31 January 2012.

Reserved categories candidates may get relaxation of few years in the prescribed age limit as per the rules of Government of India.

Educational Qualification:

Upper Division Clerk: Candidates are required to possess Degree in any discipline from a recognized university of India or equivalent. Candidates should also possess working knowledge of Computers in addition to the prescribed minimum educational qualification.

Multitasking Staff: Candidates are required to have passed Higher Secondary or equivalent from a recognized board.

No. of posts: Total 89 posts are available.

Upper Divison Clerk: 77 posts are available.
Multitasking Staff: 12 posts are available.

Pay Scale:

Upper Divison Clerk: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.
Multitasking Staff: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1800.

Application Fee:

Only General and OBC candidates are required to submit the prescribed amount of application fee. No fee is to be submitted by candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Serviceman categories. Female candidates are also exempted from the payment of this application fee.

Application fee for the post of Upper Division Clerk: Rs. 225 only.
Application fee for the post of Multitasking Staff: Rs. 125 only.

Application fee msut be submitted in the form of a demand draft only. The demand draft should be drawn in favour of ESIC, Indore payable at Indore only.

How to apply: Candidates must apply through online mode only. Candidates can apply online at the website of ESIC on or before 31 January 2012. Candidates should then take a printout of the application form and send it alongwith the demand draft of requisite amount to the below mentioned address:
