V.P. & R.P.T.P. Science College, Vallabh Vidyanagar
V.P. & R.P.T.P Science College was established in the year 1947 and the college is coming under the jurisdiction of Sardar Patel University situated at Vallabh Vidyanagar. Initially, the college was acting as an arts & science college and later in the year 1959, it was converted as Science College. The college holds the pride of winning the best science college in the state of Gujarat award consecutively for three years.

Admission Eligibility:
For all the degree courses offered in different branches of science, candidates must have completed their higher secondary examination in science stream.
College Library:
The library at V.P. & R.T.P. Science College is computerized with a collection of 6 newspapers, 40 journals, magazines and periodicals and more than 45000 books. The library also has a special reading room with a capacity to accommodate 100 students and it is receiving grants of Rs. 60000 on a yearly basis from the University Grants Commission.
Campus of the College:
The campus of V.P. & R.T.P Science College is spread over an area of more than 6000 square meter and it includes well-ventilated and spacious classrooms, fully equipped laboratory facilities, computer centre with internet facility and a huge central hall, there is also a separate canteen in the campus. The college is located in close vicinity of university office, playground, hostels, restaurants, shops, bus stop, ATM, banks and post office.
Co-curricular activities:
V.P. & R.T.P. Science College engages the students in different co-curricular activities like science association, creative gallery, nature club, debate, sports, fine arts, NSS and NCC to bring out the other talents of the students and to make them shine in different fields.
