Sonata is a software company and it visits many colleges of India for the purpose of recruiting fresh engineers for its company. It conducts a selection test for the recruitment. After the selection test an Interview of the candidates selected in the Selection Test are taken. Final list of the selected candidates are declared after the Interview round.

There are two rounds of test (in some colleges round 1 and 2 are combined to speed up the process). First Round is Aptitude Round. In this round the paper consists of questions from General Mathematics, English and Analytical and Logical Questions. In this round you have to be accurate and have to work out the problem very quickly. The questions are multiple choice types and fill in the blanks type.

Second Round is Technical Round. In this round questions are from C and C++. This round is to check whether a student is technically sound or not. Most of questions in this round are from basics of C and C++. Some questions are also based on the outputs of the given programs.
