Master of pharmacy (clinical pharmacy & pharmacy practice) is a post-graduate degree program which equips the pharmacy professional with the skills, knowledge, attitudes which enhances the combination of various compounds and incorporates it into a new form, for the purpose of health-care understanding the various principles of pharmacy required to become competent researchers and practitioners. This programme offers innovative, modern and integrated master degree education in pharmacy and incorporates detailed studies of all the areas of the action of drugs and its effect on human health.

Eligibility criteria:

Students wishing to be admitted to this course must have passed B.Pharm degree examination of any recognized university with at least 55% aggregate marks which permits admission to a university degree course. For SC/ ST category, minimum of 50% is required. Candidate has to appear for GATE examination or any other state or university entrance examination.

Course duration:

The duration of the course is about 2 years.

This degree opens up a wide range of opportunities for the students in clinical pharmacy duties and outpatient clinics (hospital pharmacists), healthcare firms and medicine factories, general management of medicine, administrators of medicines, in hospitals as well as in research fields under various government laboratories, academia, and industry.
