Company profile: BSNL is the largest telecom company of India. It provides services in different sectors like telephone, broadband, internet etc. It has been serving millions of customers from a long which makes it a dependable organization. Job profile: As a DGM, a candidate will be required to plan various strategies, lead his/her team etc. A DGM will be responsible for bringing an increase in his/her department. A DGM will have to maintain an account of various activities in the department.

Eligibility: Only Indian candidates can apply. The age of a candidate must not exceed 45 years as on 01.08.09. Relaxation can be claimed by reserved and special categories.

Educational qualifications: A candidate must be a B.E or B.Tech in IT/Computer/ECE/Electrical with 60% marks OR a candidate must be a CA/ICWA/CS with a minimum experience of 12 years in the relevant field.

Name and No. of posts: DGM (Telecom management services) – 150 posts in total
DGM (Telecom Accounts and Finance services) – 50 posts in total

Pay scale: The DGMs will be given a pay scale of Rs32900-58000 plus allowances.

Probation period: There will be a probation period of 2 years including one year training.
All the DGMs have to sign a bond for serving the company for minimum 5 years.

Selection procedure: The candidates will be screened on the basis of their qualification and experience. Then the candidates will have to appear in the written test followed by an interview.

How to apply: The candidates have to download the application from the website and send the complete application along with a DD of Rs1500 drawn in favor of A.O. (Cash) O/o CGM, NTR, New Delhi. There is no fee for SC/ST/PH candidates.

The envelope must be super scribed with Application for DGM in Telecom Management Services Examination - 2009 or Application for DGM in Telecom Accounts and Finance services Examination – 2009.
