It is very simple to get job after completing 12th Standards. One thing that you are saying, that your son is learning 12th Std in Commerce, that is good for him to get job in Indian Army. For this, your son should get minimum 55% including all subject and more than that, he should get minimum 45 marks in every subject then he qualify for the job of Clerk in Indian Army.
If you want him to join another department in Indian Army he should get minimum marks.
If he want to go any another competitive Exams or Enterance exams, so plz go through Employment News updates every Thursday.
You will get good job in Indian Army
NDA,CDS,SSC,NAVY are also are there, but the boy should be talent otherwise it is useless.
If any one goes for these exams, his aptitude, mental ability, should be good

NDA stands for National Defense Academy. It is conducted by the UPSC every year to recruit candidates for the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wings.

Eligibility needs ::

A candidate to be 12th pass with a minimum 50% aggregate in it from a recognized board or school.

Age of the candidate should not be less than 16.5 years and should not be more than 19 years at the time of applying.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply and they should be physically fit.

So yeah sure you may apply for NDA directly after 12th. But you have to clear this exam and go through a physical test and personal interview.

The notification for NDA 2012 has been out, and the exam date is on 15th April 2012.

Sir i am joining indian army but i am 2yers try indian army.

when you join defense before graduation....then you are eligible for non technical and technical posts ....like you can apply only for NDA and can also apply for technical entry.

technical entry is completely based on % scored in 12th standard.
whereas for NDA you will have to appear for an written exam.

if you join after technical graduation.....then you will be eligible only for technical posts.
if someone is graduate in some other field then he will be eligible for his specialization.

you can join Indian Army after 12th also......there are following entries for it :-

1. you can appear for NDA exam which is conducted twice in a year time.....the application form is available at the post office near you at the coat of 20 only.
After clearing the exam you will be called for an interview and physical along with other tests combinely called as SSB

2.the second entry is called as technical entry and for this you dont have to appear for any exams your selection for the SSB will be based on your percentage in 12th exams.

No, you are not eligible to apply for NDA Exam.
The Minimum Qualification for applying NDA Exam is 12th class pass . Education or equivalent Examination conducted by a state Education board or a university.

And the candidate should be minimum 17 yrs of age to apply for NDA Examination.
So, complete your 12th first then you can apply for NDA exam.

iam in 12th(PCM) so what can i do to join a indian army without NDA.

sir i am very much intrested to join indian air force as pilot .while this time i am going to face my 12th exam in february .also i could not appear for nda because of age now i am 18 yrs nd want to join air force by 10 2 test direct entry please say me when is the application date nd how to appear.

Minimum educational requirements-: 10+2 passed with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate candidate meet the educational,physical and medical standards.
NCC 'A' 'B' 'C' certificate. In case of NCC certificate holder relevant certificates.
Sports certificates to be produced:-
Represent India at international level
State level
National level
Districts level.
