The age limit for the NDA exam is 16.5 to 19 yrs only.

Age limit for NDA is from 16.5 to 19 years with no upper age relaxation for any reserved candidate.

NDA - National defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice evry year as NDA-I and NDA-II to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing.

Apart fro age criteria, the eligible candidate must be an Indian unmarried Male candidate having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

Age Limit For NDA

NDA stands for National Defence Academy(NDA) for recruitment of which, an exam is conducted by the UPSC for these wings :-

> Air Force Academy
> Army Academy
> Naval Academy

The minimum eligibility criterion which an applicant must satisfy before appearing for this NDA Examination are :-

> The applicant can only be an unmarried male..

> The applicant must not be more than 19 years of age and the lower age limit is 16 1/2 years..

> The applicant should have at least completed 12th or equivalent from a recognized board

> Mathematics and Physics are compulsory subjects for joining Air Force or Naval Academies..

The books which you can refer for your preparations are :-

There shall be 2 tests in the written exam round :-

> General Ability Test - 2 hours
> Mathematics - 2 hours

The rounds which you will have to clear before joining are :-

> Written Examination
> Personal Interview
> Medical Examination

NDA stands for National Defence Academy.

Eligibility criteria for NDA II :-

1] The candidate must be an Indian.

2] The age limit of the candidate must be between 16.5 to 17 years.

3] The candidate must be scored 60% and above in 12th class from any recognized board.

4] The candidate must be unmarried male.

5] The candidate must be physically as well as mentally fit.

Selection procedure for this exam :-

1] Written exam

2] SSB interview

3] Medical Test
