Date of issuing application form from 9th April 2011 to 9th May 2011.

Exam is going to held on 21st Aug 2011.

Age eligibility criteria:

Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 year,then only candidate is eligible to appear for NDA exam.

The NDA Examination was conducted by UPSC 2 Times In a year.

And to apply for this exam, your age should between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

The NDA Ist examination was already over. So, you can apply for NDA II Examination. The notification was already announced and it was availiable in the official website.

The NDA II examination was going to be held on 21/Aug/2011.

And the last date of apply for NDA II examination was 09/May/2011.

NDA exam is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year.

In order to be eligible for NDA exam, one should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years.

The candidates should have completed his 10+2 to be eligible for NDA exam.

Any way in order to join Air force and Naval Academy, one should have Physics and Mathematics as the subjects.

You are not eligible for NDA II because to be eligible you should have been born between 02-07-1993 and 01-01-1996.

As per the NDA II Exam Notification :

Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1993 and not later than 1st January, 1996 are eligible.

But friend don't loose hope of joining the defense services as you have another chance of joining it after your graduation by clearing the CDS exam similar to NDA !

Yes you are eligible to apply for the NDA examination according to your
age. For the NDA examination a candidate age should be between
16.5 to 19 years. And your age is 18 so you are eligible to apply for the
NDA II examination for this year.

If you have passed the 10+2 examination or have appeared in the 10+2
examination then you are eligible to apply for the National Defence Academy
examination.

NDA I is going to be Held on 17th of April for this You are Not Eligible because you have Not passed your 11th Class.

But Don't worry For NDA I 2012 you will be Eligible.

NDA- National Defence Academy

The age limits for NDA exam is that only unmarried men are qualified and that to they must be born earlier than 2nd July 1993 and not later than 1st January 1996.

The education qualification is that there must be a 12th class pass of 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination conducted by a state education board or a university.

Most important thing is that the candidate must physically fit while appearing for the exam.

According to the notification released by the UPSC regarding NDA II, only unmarried male

candidates born between 2nd July, 1993 and 1st January, 1996 are eligible.

So as you are not within the given eligible bracket so you are not eligible.

However, if you want to join the defence forces, you can apply for the CDSE conducted by the UPSC after completing graduation from any foels.

The date of birth accepted by the Commission is that entered in the Matriculation or Secondary School Leaving Certificate or in a certificate recognized by an Indian University as equivalent to Matriculation or in an extract from a Register of Matriculates maintained by a University which must be certified by the proper authority of the University or in the Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination certificates.
