Re: Have not got any seat in AIEEE counselling, what to do?
dear friend
as per your rank i think u will not get admission in many reputed engineering colleges. but there are many private colleges in different states allow students to take admission through AIEEE. so u can attend the counseling of engineering colleges of different states like WB, ORISSA, MAHARASTRA , KARNATAKA and many more. all d best. |

Re: Have not got any seat in AIEEE counselling, what to do?
hi friend
You can participate in state level counselling which do not conduct their own test and take applicant into their college on the basis of AIEEE rank. For example in haryana, seats are alloted in engineering college according to the AIEEE rank in all colleges. Apart from this till now you have to try for the vacant seats. Please do not waste your important one year for better rank because if dont get this you will not have much option except to take admission in simple college. |

Re: Have not got any seat in AIEEE counselling, what to do?
hi,
As the no. of students called for counselling are too much in comparison to the no. of seats available in the colleges for counselling . i also wan't to confirm you that whether you have filled the options keeping last year's opening and closing ranks in the first round for engineering given on the counselling website of AIEEE which is http://www.ccb.nic.in but if you have filled the options regarding the overall opening and closing ranks than i wan't to ensure you that it is given for all rounds of counselling i.e. 1st to 5th .... but if no above cases belong to you than you must visit the NIT present in your state in b/w 26th june to 2nd of july and if you fail to attend the counselling session with required certificated and fees than you will not be eligible for further rounds of counselling and wait for the second round of counselling which is expected to be held on 4th july 2010 . you can also look for admissions into your state colleges which has their seperate counselling and additional eligibility criteria's regarding the admissions based on AIEEE rank. just hurry up in whatever you wan't to do since time is too less , but there is nothing to worry!!!!so , don't worry!! i am providing you the attachments regarding the dates of further counselling sessions and For rules which are to be followed to attend followed rounds , you can visit http://ccb.nic.in/ccb2010/ADMISSION%...208_6_2010.htm . for more details regarding this , visit the website http://www.aieee.nic.in thank |

Re: Have not got any seat in AIEEE counselling, what to do?
Hi dear,
you must have to fill maximum no. of choices that you can fill so , as to get a branch in a college .As more options you add to the counselling form , more will be the chances of getting a branch . As the no. of students called for counselling are too much in comparison to the no. of seats available in the colleges for counselling . i also wan't to confirm you that whether you have filled the options keeping last year's opening and closing ranks in the first round for engineering given on the counselling website of AIEEE which is http://www.ccb.nic.in but if you have filled the options regarding the overall opening and closing ranks than i wan't to ensure you that it is given for all rounds of counselling i.e. 1st to 5th .... but if no above cases belong to you than you must visit the NIT present in your state in b/w 26th june to 2nd of july and if you fail to attend the counselling session with required certificated and fees than you will not be eligible for further rounds of counselling and wait for the second round of counselling which is expected to be held on 4th july 2010 . you can also look for admissions into your state colleges which has their seperate counselling and additional eligibility criteria's regarding the admissions based on AIEEE rank. just hurry up in whatever you wan't to do since time is too less , but there is nothing to worry!!!!so , don't worry!! i am providing you the attachments regarding the dates of further counselling sessions and For rules which are to be followed to attend followed rounds , you can visit http://ccb.nic.in/ccb2010/ADMISSION%...208_6_2010.htm . for more details regarding this , visit the website http://www.aieee.nic.in Thanks |

A general answer for all of you,
well though you people generally in 50000 rank range will not get any government colleges but still you can get seats alloted through central counselling, look for colleges in your range from previous year trends. some colleges i know are mumbai colleges like K.G somaiyya etc. |

Re: Have not got any seat in AIEEE counselling, what to do?
Hello,
The seat in AIEEE depends on your all India rank. It seems to be your rank should not up to the mark for getting good colleges but you must have to filled the maximum option for your choice. But don't get nervous you can get direct admission in any good private colleges. Every colleges have there own lateral entrance procedure. So you can apply for these colleges which provide the direct admission. |

Re: Have not got any seat in AIEEE counselling, what to do?
57510 is not a good rank in AIEEE. till you may try to take admission with this much rank in any private engineering college. when counseling will be held just go to the counseling when your turn will come then you will find out that for which institution seat are open for your admission.
i think if you want to take admission in engineering in a good institution then you should again appear in AIEEE examination next year. or if you have any other rank in any other engineering entrance examination this year then you may take admission through that. if you are sure that you will be able to do good rank in next year then only try for next year. otherwise you have to take admission with this rank or you have to go for any other study like you may take admission in B.Sc or you may go for some other professional courses like BCA, BBA etc. best wishes. |

Re: Have not got any seat in AIEEE counselling, what to do?
Hello...even i did not have a good rank in AIEEE at my time.
my suggestion would be to go for a university which will give you good exposure and help in your placements. You can find some really good ones in the Delhi NCR region. Try to find out about them as there are many comapnies in Delhi which prefer recruiting locally. |

Re: Have not got any seat in AIEEE counselling, what to do?
hello friend if you didn't get any college in the AIEEE counseling then you don't worry
after that you can apply for the state counseling on the basis of the AIEEE rank like that of the West Bengal state , Orissa State , Chattisgarh State , Punjab state , Maharashtra state to apply you have to see the procedure of the individual state and then apply for the counseling on the basis of the AIEEE rank i think you will definitely get the Seat in any of the good colleges best of luck |
