Useful posts by honourable members, I'd like to answer your query, Mr darsetmerchant, as to changing your stream. See, if you really want to change your stream, you will have to pursue the 10+2 course again, in a different institution than you are currently in. Please also note that both commerce and science have equally good future prospects. Even in science stream, you can choose like BSc/MSc, if you want to go for teaching or research. You may also choose BCA/MCA since you have computers and you must be proficient with, say, +2 level Java. Also, you can go for B.Arch (Architecture, which is not particularly engineering). Finally, there remain other courses like fashion technology, hotel management, catering etc. that you might want to go for.

Hello dear ,

After 12th for science student there are so many filed available like :-

You can go in medical filed if you are having bio suject
You can go in engineering filed
You can opt officer filed like in NDA,CDSE,SSE,USE,CID ,IAS,IES so many other filed ........

But if you realy want career in commerce then you have to do 12th with commerce branch.

There are lots of career option after 12 th in science stream.

You can do B.Sc from different fields like Physics,Chemistry,Maths,Biology,Computer Science,Information Technology,Biotechnology,Microbiology,etc
After your B.Sc you can do M.Sc or MBA or MCA or some P.G. Diploma courses.
After 12th yu can also go for BCA,BMS,BMM,etc.
You can also do degree or diploma in Engineering.
You cna also do M.B.B.S or B.Pharma.
There are so many things you can do after 12th in science stream.


I will suggest you to not change your stream.
But yes you can definetely change your stream form science to arts or commerce.

i m in 12th computer science student.....i m not good at studies......i am good at painting i am confused whether i should take computer engineering as a career after 12th or commercial arts which has good scope my maths is very weak also i am intrested in animation ( game designing ) can i become game designer or animator after doing commercial arts?????????????????? please help

BCA
BHM
BMS
by this course's you can change your stream. if your interest in fashion designing, B-arch , interior designing can also take it any course.

Still confuse...................common dude .take a decision.

Ok.
If you are not sure you want to do engineering...
Then you can do anythink else.
And yes you can obviously go for a commerce field after completing 12th in science. And you can do...... BBA/ CA/ B.com...
You can also do honours in the subject of your interest.

There are many options 4 science students after 12th like B.pharm,Bsc,Bio-tech,MSc etc......
You can select the best.......
You can also change your field but it wil take an year.......
Its up to you to take the right decision.....

hello friend...

You dont have to be confused of what to opt whether doctor or engineer?? because its all your Interest which matters if you say am still confused then go for the one which you easily fit in.. If you want to be a doctor you must have a score of atleast 98 % in your 12thwhere you can get inside medical colleges with scholarship if not its no use to join in medical colleges with management seatbecause am sure you will suffer when you start your studies in medical course... if you are not able to score more than 98 % in 12th then opt for engineering in some best colleges like IIT by performing well in the entrance exam... if you are not able to get in to IIT then there are lot of good colleges in the list like anna university etc where you can pursue your engineering course... at the end of the day its all about your INTEREST which matters so follow the course which you are interested in and am sure you will shine in future...

Am sorry, you cannot get admission in an Arts college without passing your 12th grade.. dont worry if you have not written the exam well, you have supplement exam which will be in 2 months time, just prepare well once again and write the exam because finishing 12th std is very important in life for future..

-> Any job you go they will ask for 12th grade certificate as eligiblity.

-> Just build your interest and work hard because its your future.

There are number of scopes for science student not only engineering but fields like BCA,MCA,M,SC.P.HD.ETC ALSO HAVE good career profile.

IF you want to leave science and opt for any other then fields like-
CA,CS,MBA,ICWA,CMA,also have lucrative job profile.

HOW TO BECOME A DOCTOR AFTER COMPLETING 12TH GRADE

Just follow the important steps which is given below to become a future doctor

-> Wait for your results to come, where you should have a cut-off of physics, chemistry, maths together - 198 and above out of 200.

-> If you get the required cut-off for medicine then you can apply for any of the medical colleges through anna university counselling which will be carried out after a month when the results are out.

-> You can apply to anna university counselling by collecting the form directly from any of the anna university college.

-> You will be called depending upon your rank in the state and you will asked to select the medical college which you are eligible in, select the one which you are comfortable with.

-> If you are not able to get a cut-off of above 198 then you can apply to any private medical colleges directly, which will cost you around 20K.

You can switch over to commerce if you are not interested in Science subjects but for that you need to know your interest field. Every field carries lot of options you just have to take out best out of you.
Explore your qualities and your interest, take your time but be sure in what you do.
Well, there are immense opportunities available for commerce student.
You can do B.Com and appear for professional courses conducted by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, Institute of Cost and Work Accountancy. After getting the professional degree you can get employment in Companies (Public & Private)

You can go in for LLB which again has abundant opportunity with Company Secretary.

You have to choose your interest field and take decision on that basis for example if you are interested in Finance go in for C.A. or C.W.A.
If interested in Law then you can go for LLB with C.S.
and Accounts
The subject matter of the course consists of Law, Taxation, Management

There are other opportunities also available apart from your subjects.
For that you need to know which course you are interested in, then you can go in for-

After 12th you have more choices. Since you are in science group you can

change to any field. There are more options in science stream itself as follows

engineering, medical, B.sc(any subjects) etc. In commerce field also you have

oppurtunities like CA, BCA, Bcom , BBA etc.

both science and commerce contain their own advantage ... in respective field..

u can change your stream..........their will be no problem.

and in science too their are different options like engineering ,medical field,

which have very good scope in the future....
