Dont get confused . there many scopes for science students after +2. You can do BSc from delhi university , or can go for good engineering college, if you are interested in defence then you can apply for army officer through SSB interview. and you can also do apply for gate after graduation.

there are number of career option after 12th for science student.if u want to join defence u can go for nda(national defence academy) ,
u go for animation career
if u have interest in commerce u can prepare for C.A,icw,CS exams

Few persons face situations like this, many have interest in one field but for career they choose the other subjects which they are not interested. In your question I found that you dont have exact opinion on one subject.

For the first question I can tell you that you still have a chance to change your subjects as you wish. In commerce field you have better chances like CA, management courses, Degree courses like B.A, B.Com.

Now adays engineering is not a bad idea because most of the science field guys choose for engineering studies. They have different streams and have plenty of career options. You can do engineering also.

But mostly the option is upto your interest in subjects and dedication towards your aim. I have the opinion that you may opt for commerce field and try for CA or Bussiness management courses.

in my opinion yes,you can go in commerce line with many prospective but if you are still confused that whether you want to do engineering or not,be stick to your field with full dedication surely you will find a lightening path..moreover science fields also have many diversions like you can go for bio informatics,nanotechnology,bio process engineering,marine biology,neurology,astronomy,oceanography,etc.....g ood luck!

Do not panic or get confused ,
just choose your aim and make it your ambition and step forward to achieve that .

as you are a science student so i dont understand why you want to change your stream ?
but as far as i understand from your query is that you are thinking that there are lesser scopes in science field
but friend let me tell you there are many hopes you can choose from :

you can go for the following :
If a student is interested in doing engineering courses,
civil,
mechanical,
electronics,
metallurgy,
computers,


Apart form doing the degree level courses in science with the conventional combinations you can also choose degree courses in several emerging professional areas,
such as computer,
business administration,
hotel management,
tourism management.
You can also opt for courses outside the university stream, such as

hotel management,
fashion technology,
industrial design,
packaging,
aircraft maintenance engineering,
government accredited computer courses
and a host of post 10 + 2 level vocational courses.

You are a science student and that is your biggest advantage. You can choose almost choose any field you desire but it will require a lot of hardwork as you have already spent 2 yrs after +2.
Anyway you maybe interested in fields such as BBA then you can do MBA. You have BCA and thereafter you can go for MCA. Then there is CA for chartered accountancy.
If you have a good percentage, you can opt for eco hons.
Thus scope is plenty, you must be ready to grab ir and work hard.

after 12th for a science student there are so many career options. if you do not interested in engineering then do not go for it. choose any other option.
you nay continue your study in general line B.Sc, M.Sc, P.hd in this line.
if you want to study on computer then you may choose BCA, MCA etc also B.Sc in computer science.

yes,of course you can switch to commerce field after 12th,there are plenty of options like charted accountant,B.COM,BBA,MBA is also on heights with many job opportunities with it....moreover i would like to suggest you that today science field is also diverging it's root to many fields you too have plenty of options in it like bio informatics,biotechnology,nanotechnology,astrology ,marine science,oceanology,microbiology,etc..all just you have to do it is hard work to grap your aim,thought a while for the heights you want to achieve & just go for it!!

if you will get good marks in 12th than there are many option after 12th like engineering, business or any field in which you have a interest so you can choose any option if you want to change than you can change and choose commerce and after that select MBA or CA.

Even being a Science student you wanted to opt for a career in commercial field.

Well, like wise Engineering, medical etc. there is no such centralised entrance exam except very few ones.

CA: For becoming a CA you have to clear CPT entrance, which is conducted 4 times a year by ICAI, then after having 1.5 years of assistanship, you have to clear PCC etc.....

NID: If you want to persue bachelor degree in Desingning, then you can appear for entrance conducted by NID for that purpose.

NIFT: If you want to persue bachelor degree in Fashion, then you can appear for entrance conducted by NID for that purpose.

CS: For becoming a company secretriate you have to clear preliminary exams.

Hotel Management: Few reputed or NAtional Institutes have admission through entrance like- IAM, Oberoi Group, Taj Group etc. other wise maximum Institutes offers direct admission.

BBA: Same as in the case of Hotel Management.

BCA: Same as in the case of BBA.

LLB: If you want to make your career in Law then you have to go through CLAT. Besides these various Institutes also conducts there own entrance lkie- KIIT, and Law entrance of Orissa is also famous.

NDA: For making a successful career in defence, UPSC (http://www.upsc.gov.in) conducts NDE examination twice a year.

i'm an 11th student and i'm confused that what to opt after 12th in science stream.i hate engineering and i dnt wanna opt it!so wat other streams are there??plss tell me!!!!

since you had science in 12th standard, you are eligible to switch to BSc and BA. but i dont thnik u can get a scope to switch to BCom. ane thing you can do is you can visit any Open unuversity to know whether they provide such option in their board. if you come to commerce line, then you have to surely do CA or Cost accountant along with BCom. otherwise you can only try for CA or cost.

otherwise i think you can opt BBA,BCA followed by MBA or MCA........that will also provide you a good future.

but at first fix your target which is most important

ya you can change your field even now.......
its good to be late than never if your intrest doesnt lies then you should leave it............
and more over there a lot more options in both fields.
i think you should consult a counseller personally and asa early as possible.........

As a science student you have a lot of options at your disposal after 12th. You can do MBBS(only bio students), B.Tech/B.E, BBA, B.SC, B.COM, BCA, BA and a lot of other courses are there.
But keep in mind, that whatever you do should match your aptitude and ability.
You can also go for a degree course related to commerce field. There is the option of BBA, BBM and B.Com.

why you want to left science?this is starting of your career.and who told you that unless an engineer life is nothing?do not think that.

you can change your stream but in science there are many options avaliable like BScand after that civilservice to become an IAS,IPS and many more prestigious job,or you can push your career in computer science education.many scope are avaliable there programme developper,designeer .animation expert etc etc.

so many option avaliable in your surroundings.find the best suitable option.

No problem at all.

If someone is a science (PCM) student it doesn't mean that only engineering is the only way for him.

There are plethora of oppurtunities in MAthematics, the subject which rules the world.

And you have also guessed well ISI, Management, R & D, Defence, Academics, etc. are also best options available.

But the most valuable thing to be with Mathematics is that you must have to acquire a good command over the whole subject, because ISI, R & D and Defence are a sector where only the best one can lead.

70% strength of ISI is made up of students who had successfully qualified Olympiads, IITJEE, Board Toppers etc.

Only the rest of 30% seat get filled from normal students.

So, just be focused in your studies....

There are really number of options for science.but one thing i would like you to advice is that choose the field that passionate you to get good results.If you are confused about engineering then dont go for it.Going for commerce is not at all bad idea.But if you have good percentage in science,then don change it.

first decdide which are the fields which you have interest and take decsion then only.
look friend that there are a number of courses which you can opt for but does its of your choice.
it does not mean that if you take science you only become a doctor never. its not so.
see if you are good in science and it interests you can carry it forward and take your graduation after that you can decide what to do next as you will be in better condition to judge yourself.
if good in maths go for engineering and if commerce suits you you can study it.
But changing stream from science to other will not be very beneficial as knowledge of basic science is must.

after 12th for a science student he take admission in engineering or medical line.if he want to go in computer science line than he should bca,mca & if he want to leave science line than he should take admission in bba,bcom after that mba,

Its depend on your Interest, you can choose that subject in which you have talent and which is your favorite, i too was very confused when i was i my 10standard, I have interest in biology and science i took bpc in my 12th and now i am in MBBS 3 year., and trying to do radiology.. i got help from this site then Career guidance. i hope you too get help. and find here any, education requirements and Career information too.

Yes, you can change your stream anytime to commerce but
my personnal suggestion is that you should think about what you want to
become in LIFE i.e. more important and then select the branch.
No stream is good or bad, its upon you to perform and give your 100%.
Already many of them have posted regarding the further courses you can have
but before that bring your AIM in front of you.

After 12th science student with Physics,Mathematics,Chemistry have maximum number of options.As you want to jump into Commerce background.
For commerce field you can go for BBA,BMS,etc.,You can do CA which provides you steady income comparable to that of Engineers from IIT.Many are opting for this CA.
In other fields you can go for fashion designing,hotel management,jewellery design etc.,

Best carrier option for you is that you go for MCA after graduation if u like computers and computer programming if u dont like computer programming and science then you must need to do MBA for a bright carreeer

Well friend, other than engineerin, medical, there are lot of options for further education after 12th for sciences students.They can pursue professional courses such as BBA, BCA etc. If You are inclined towards innovative courses, you can go for courses like BBA LL.B, B.A LL.B etc, which are offered by UPES Dehradun which is well reputed for its academic excellence, well qualified faculty and good placements.. There are lot of job options after doing BA LLB or BBA LLB. U can earn quiet a respectable job for yourself. After the programme u can join any law firm or legal department of any company or U can practice independently as legal advisor. After completing ur course u can even opt for preparing for Judicial Services examination. U can even work as public prosecutor in lower courts. A career in law is among the highly reputable jobs.
