Yes Dear,
NDA exams is conducted for all the 12th appearing
NDA (National Defence Academy) conducted by UPSC twice in a year
u can go for these 3 options in NDA :
a. Indian Army.
b. Indian Air Force
c. Indian Navy
Criteria for eligibility (NDA) is given below :-
Student must be 12th passed or any equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% marks.
The age limit is (16.5 - 19.5) years.

and there is no other way to get selection in NDA

The entry after 12th is only NDA entry.

Age :-16.5 -19 years, only for male candidates

Educational Qualifications i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

To join Indian Army you have to fight Civil Defence Services exams i.e. CDS and NDA exams.

Both CDS and NDA exams are conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).

Educational Eligibility For NDA - A candidate pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Maths with minimum 50 % aggregate marks from a regonised board.

Age Eligibility For NDA - 16 Years to 21 Years.

Physical Eligibility For NDA - A candidate should be physically and mentally fit.

1. Eye Sight = 6/6, Height
2. Height = 167 cms,
3. Weight: 50 Kg
4. Chest: 77 cm (Normal) / 82 cm (Expanding)

Procedure to Join NDA - ( 5 Stages )
1. Written test,
2. Physical tests,
3. Medical tests,
4. Group tests and
5. Personal Interview.

HI!
I am sorry to inform you that you are not eligible for N.D.A exam after passing 12th with commerce stream because you age is above 19 year.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

For N.D.A exam you age should be in between 16.5-19 year.
I you really want ti join Defence then you can apply after passing graduation with any stream.

After passing graduation you have to qualify the Combine Defence Services Exam.

C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

The age limit for C.D.S exam is 21-24 year.

You should be citizen of India
You should be physically fit

Yes you have an option to join in NDA after your 12th standard, but your age is 20years so you are not eligible for the NDA exam.
But there is a way for you if you have to complete your graduation then you have an option to crack the CDS exam, this exam also like NDA exam.
CDS exam also conducteduay the UPSC.

age must be within 16 half to 19 half years!!

and the chest is minimum 80 cm

and should pass 12 th class exam

and minimum acceptable hieght for NDA is 157.5 cm


and this exam conduct twice a year whose notification come in employement newspaper!!

Yes absolutely , you can join NDA if you have successfully passed your 12th from any recognized board, as its the clear notification from the Union Public Service Commission that any candidate who follow the below mentioned can appear in the NDA exam and pass out candidates are shortlisted for interview test.

NDA - NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY, the exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for an entry in to three wings of NDA:-

-INDIAN AIR FORCE

To be eligible for NDA one must be an unmarried Indian male candidate only. He should have either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream form a recognised Board. The candidate should be within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

Once a candidate got selected to NDA, he can make defence service as his career by proving his efficiency in many ways.
