There is no particular percentage limit to maintain in 12th class for appearing NDA exam..

To appear in NDA exam you have to complete your 12th in any trade..

There is no such percentage in 12th marks is required to appear in NDA exam.

All you need is you just have to complete the 12th or its equivalent course..

So, don't worry , just go for the exam.

The minimum percentage required is 60% without any backlog. If you have passed the 12th class with the PCM subject from any board and your age is 16 ½ year to 19 year then you can apply for the NDA exam.

NDA exam is conducted by UPSC every year twice.This exam is conducted to take qualified students into different defense services like
>>Indian Air Force
>>Indian Navy
>>Indian Army

Eligibility criteria for NDA exam:
For Indian Air Force/Indian Navy:
You should have complete 12th class with PCM stream from a recognized university and should have maintained 55% marks.
And your age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.
For Indian Army:
You should have complete 12th class with any stream from a recognized university.
And your age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

If you fulfill with this criteria,then you can appear for this year NDA exam.
NDA exam application will be issued from 31st Dec 2011 to 30th Jan 2012.
And exam will held on 15th April 2012.

There is no percentage criteria for N.D.A exam. All the candidate wo have to just pass the 12th class are eligible for National Defence Services exam.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

After qualifying this exam you can start you career in defence sector like:-
>> Indian Army
>> Indian Air force
>> Indian Navy

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass 12th with any subject from recognized university or board
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year
> Medically fit

There are 3 steps of selection:-
-Written exam.
-Interview
-medical exam.

The forms for the NDA 1 2012 exam shall be released on 31st December,2011 and the last date for submission of the application forms is 30th January,2012

The exam is going to be conducted on 15th April,2012

A candidate must fulfill the following eligibility criterion for appearing in the NDA exam :-

1) A candidate must be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years as seen on 1st July,2012

2) The candidate must have passed out 12th or appearing for the 12th boards in 2012(PCM is a compulsion if you wish to join Air Force or Navy)

The candidates first need to clear the written exam which shall consist of 2 papers :-
>> General Ability : General Knowledge and Current Affairs
>> Basic Maths,English and Science

Your 12th standard subject must be Mathematics and Physics.Then you are eligible for NDA exam.There is no percentage criteria for NDA exam.

Candidate must be 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Other criteria:

1. The candidate should be between 16-1/2 to 19 years of age

2. Your marital status should be single.

The eligibility requirements for NDA exam are mentioned below-

1. Only male candidates are allowed to appear in this exam.

2. Candidates must be at least 16 and a half and most not be more than 19.

3. Candidate must not be married at the time of exam and also must not get married until the training period is over.

4. The education qualification requirement is a 12th pass with physics and math’s as main subjects. Final year students can also apply.

5. It is a must that the candidate be healthy as per the norms. Also he should not have any kind of mental or physical disability. The body weight should not exceed the limit. The minimum height should be at least 157.5 cms and maximum of 162.5 cms.

So from the above it is cleared that there is no such specific percentage criteria in 12th class but if the candidate scores more than 50% marks in 12th then HIS chances of getting success in exam is more as it shows that the candidate is fond of study & can work hard in the near future.

Dear friend If you are going for army with NDA then they dont demand for high % but if you go for NAVY or AIR FORCE then your aim must be to secure at least 55%.

There is no such fixed percentage of marks that you have to get in your 12th exam in order to be eligible for the examination.

The only thing that you need on the basis of educational criteria is you must have completed your 12th from any recognized board with a passing certificate , i.e., you must have passed the 12th exam.

The other criteria that you need to concern on regarding this exam are ;

* You must be An Indian Citizen.

* You must be single, i.e., you should not be married.

* Your age should lie in between 16.5-19 years.

* You should be physically and mentally fit.

There are no percentage of marks required to apply for NDA exam only 12th academic qualification is sufficient for application to NDA along with other eligibility criteria.

National Defence Academy(NDA) is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

Eligibility for NDA:-

-The candidate must be an Indian unmarried male only
-Should have either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board.
