NDA Stands for National Defense Academy and this examination was conducted by UPSC Twice in a year- NDA (I) and NDA (II).

For this year NDA Examination was Already completed and If you have missed the Chance To apply for NDA Examination this year then please apply for this examination Next Year.

The Schedule for NDA Examination was already availiable in the UPSC Website.

>> And The NDA (I) 2012 Examination Notification Was Going to be Published Soon in the Month of December i.e on 31/12/2011.

The last date of apply for this examination was 30/01/2012.

And the Written examination was Going to be Held on 15/04/2012.

>> So, If you have completed your 12Th examination form a recognised Board In any discipline then you are eligible for Army Wings.

And For Air force and Naval Wings, you need to complete your 12Th examination with Physics and Maths as a compulsory subjects. So, If your age should between 16.5 to 19 years then you are eligible to apply for NDA Examination.

a) Candidates may apply online using the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in/. Detailed instructions for filling up online applications are available on the above mentioned website.

(b) Candidates may also apply offline in the Common Application Form devised by the Commission for its examinations which can be processed on computerised machines. This application form alongwith an Information Brochure containing general instructions for filling up the form, an acknowledgement card and an envelope for sending the application will be obtainable from the designated Head Post Offices / Post Offices throughout the country as listed in Appendix-III of Notice against cash payment of 20/- (Rupees twenty only).

Form should be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices / Post Offices only and not from any other agency. This form can be used only once and for only one examination.

Candidates who wish to apply offline must use the form supplied with the Information Brochure only and they should in no case use photocopy / reproduction / unauthorisedly printed copy of the Form. Since this form is electronically scanned, due care should be taken to fill up the application form, correctly. While filling up the application form, please refer to detailed instructions given in Appendix-II(B) of this Notice.

The candidates should also fill up in the relevant places of the Acknowledgement Card, their Application Form Number (8-digit) and the name of the examination. The applicants are required to affix the postage stamp of 6 Six on the Acknowledgement Card and send the same along with application form to UPSC. If an applicant fails to affix the postage stamp of requisite amount his acknowledgement card will not be dispatched and Commission will not be responsible for non-receipt of acknowledgement cards by the applicant.........

the NDA exam is conducted twice in a year but unfortunately for you,this year's NDA exams are over..but you can surely apply for the next NDA exam for which the forms shall be available from the first week of january..you can contact your nearest book depot for the forms..
the minimum eligibility criteria for sitting in NDA is that you should be a 12th pass-out within the age limit of 16.5-19 years.

NDA (National Defense Academy) examination is conducted by UPSC twice every year. Eligible candidates must have passed class 12th or equivalent exam with science stream with atleast 60% marks in PCM.

The Schedule for NDA Examination is already available at the UPSC Website. You can go to upsc website and check for the date of exam, release of the application form and last date of applying. You can apply online or you can buy the form simply from UPSC office or some stationary shop which provides the forms.

National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by upsc twice in a year to intake qualified Candidate for different department in Defense service like Indian Airforce, Indian Navy,Indian Army etc.

Eligibility criteria for NDA-I/NDA-II exam:
Education qualification: Minimum candidate should complete 12th class with PCM stream.
Age Limit: Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.
Citizenship: Indian

NDA-I and NDA-II exam are conducted twice in year, because the person who was not able to attend for NDA-I exam, he can apply for NDA-II exam in the same year, without having gap between the education.

NDA-I exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 31st Dec 2011 to 30th Jan 2012.
Exam will held on 15th April 2012.
NDA-II exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 5th May 2012 to 4th June 2012.
Exam will held on 19th Aug 2012.

The National defense Academy exam is conducted by UPSC twice in year(NDA-I,NDA-II).
The eligibility criteria for NDA-
1.qualification =
*For the Army wing =12th from any recognized board,
*For Air force and Naval wings = 12th with Math and Physics from any recognized board.
2.Age limit = 16.5 to 19 years.
3.Nationality -
Candidate should be -
1.A citizen of India or
2. A subject of Nepal or
3. A subject of Bhutan .

Exam notification for NDA-I comes out at the last week of December and the exam is conducted on 2nd week of April .

Exam notification of NDA-II comes out at the first week of May and the exam is conducted on the 3rd week of August.

NDA stands for the National Defense Academy. Its an all India entrance examination conducted by the UPSC for the recruitment of candidates for the various Army, Navy and Air Force posts.

~:: ELIGIBILITY FOR NDA ::~

1. A candidate must be an Indian National

2. Only unmarried male candidates can apply for this exam.

3. They should have passed class 12th from a recognized school board, with a minimum 50% aggregate.

4. Maths is a compulsory subject if applying for the Air Force or Naval wings.

After qualifying this exam you can start you career in defence sector like:-
>> Indian Army
