Institute of Hotel Management of Bangalore is one which offers excellent educational environment for students over the years. The institute was started as the food craft institute in 1969 and got its name in 1983. The Institute is widely known as a leader to provide various hotel management courses of different levels. It provides qualified and experienced faculty members with excellent academic knowledge.  

Infrastructure:

The institute was jointly set up by government of Karnataka and government of India and has various facilities in its campus which is recognized by the government. The institute provides Hostel facility for boys only. The Institute is full of various labs and training centers. It has modern equipments in their labs and up to date library facilities to its students. The institute also provides transportations facility to its students.

Courses Offered:

In the beginning of this institute it used to offer only short term courses for the candidates but from 1983 it has courses like: M.Sc. in Hospitality Administration, B.Sc (Hotel Management) , Post graduate Diploma in Accommodation Operations , Certificate Course in Food Production , Certificate Course in Food and Beverage Service.

Admission Procedure:

Applying candidates have to pass higher secondary exams or its equivalent exams from any recognized universities of India. Candidates have to secure good marks in the All India Joint Entrance Exam which is conducted by NCHM. Qualifying candidates have to face an interview in order to get their desired courses.

Placements:

The college offers training and placement programs to the students in order to face the modern management companies.
