Annamalai University is situated in Annamalainagar, near the historic town of Chidambaram. The university has one of the largest residential campuses in our country. It offers distance education courses also- both undergraduate and postgraduate. Among the postgraduate courses offered by the University one is a master’s degree in Police Administration. This subject is gaining popularity day by day and more and more students are joining this degree. The duration of the course is two years.

In the second year of the course there is a paper on terrorism. This paper forms an important part of the study of police administration. The exam of the subject is of duration of three hours and carries a total of 100 marks. The question paper has two sections. Section A consists of eight questions out of which five are to be answered. Each question carries 8 marks. The questions are to be answered in about 300 words each. The sub total of this section is 40 marks.

Section B consists of five questions out of which three are to be answered. The questions carry 20 marks each. Each of the questions is to be answered in about 1200 words. The sub total of this section is 60 marks.
