Profile:
Supreme Court of India was established on January 28, 1950 under the Constitution of India, Government of India. The court actually acts as a federal court, gaurdian of the Constitution of India. The court came into existence under the Artcile 124 to 147 of the Constitution of India. Till date, the court has delievered almost 24 thousand reported judgements.
Job Profile:
Candidates are invited to apply for the posts of Senior Court Assistant and Junior Court Assistant in Supreme Court of India.
Eligibility:
Candidates should be in between 18 to 27 years of age as on 31 July 2010. Relaxation in age is available as per rules.
Educational Qualification:
Degree from any recognized institute or university is required for applying for the posts of Senior Court Assistant and Junior Court Assistant in Supreme Court of India..
No. of posts: Several posts are available for both the positions.
Pay Scale:
Senior Court Assistant: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4600
Junior Court Assistant: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200
Selection process:
The final selection on the above specifed posts of Senior Court Assistant and Junior Court Assistant will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the personal interview.
