Re: Can I practice as a lawyer after acquiring LLB Degree?
Yes, what you have heard is correct.
BGL [Bachelor of General Law] degree entitles you to work as a lawyers assistant or give consultation regarding legal issues but you can not practice law in court. However, with a LLB degree, you can practice law in any court in India either Civil court or Criminal court. |

Quote:
Yes, After you LLB you can practice as lawyer. There is no doubt in that. Minimum qualification is LLB to practice any civil, criminal court. After that you can make your own chamber in court. Regards, Ramjash |

Re: Can I practice as a lawyer after acquiring LLB Degree?
Hi, Am planning to study LLB via distance education. What is the scope to practice as a lawyer? I saw in some info websites like LLB through correspondence is not recognized by bar council. Is there any exams to practice as lawyer?
