Environment science and technology is that branch of science that deals with the environment, our surroundings. This branch deals with the happenings in the environment and studying the changes occurring in it. The degree of Bachelor of technology or bachelor of engineering should be in particular branches that are eligible for this course. The degree should also be from a college that is well affiliated and approved by the government of India.

The course duration of this course varies from college to college and university to university. Some universities offer this course with duration of 2 years, whereas few offer it with duration of 1 year only.
