M.Tech In Environmental Science
M.tech in Environmental science is fast becoming an interesting career option because of the increasing rise in environmental consciousness. The topics deal with important environment related issues like pollution control, radiation protection, toxic materials control, water supply etc. The objective here of environmental scientists is sustainable development by devising methods and techniques to handle environmental issues.
Eligibility Criteria
A Maters’ degree in Environmental Science can be pursued if a candidate has a Bachelor’s in Engineering or technology in environmental or civil engineering. The student should also have appeared and cleared the GATE entrance exam. Some colleges and institutes have their own internal exam followed by a personal interview as well.
Course Outlook
This is essentially a two year course comprising of four semesters which include a great deal of assignments and projects. The faculty train the students with the latest methods and resources so as to prepare them to meet the unique demands of the field.
Job Prospects
The post graduates from this field are recruited in Central and State pollution control boards. The initial pay is very good for a post graduate in India. A lot of international companies are also looking to hire recruit engineers from the field.

Where we can we try for MTech in Environment when we are from lifesciences stream of biotech candidates with a good score in GATE? What are the job prospects in this area after post graduation?
How about M.E.Infrastructure engineering ?It’s syllabus,famous colleges,scope,etc….
