Sharda University which is today the biggest university in terms of students has been on the charge of imparting quality level education and knowledge and thereby improving and evolving every second of its course. Thus today Sharda university has become one of the most promising and upcoming universities in India. The most important thing that the university boasts is its international standards which have been setting the latest trends and benchmarks for other universities.

Sharda University was established as a state university in the city of Greater Noida situated in the political state of Uttar Pradesh. This university came into existence legislatively in 2009 but much before that the Sharda group of institutions has been imparting knowledge in this country for well over 14 years now.

The university is limited to its education jurisdiction posed by the UGC and hence has no other centers apart from its multi departmental campus which is so advanced and hugely built in an area of 63 acres satisfying all the graduate, post graduate and doctoral programs that the university runs apart from its administrative and other managerial blocks.

The courses that the university offers are in three different parts. One includes the graduate courses in the fields of engineering, dental, medical sciences, allied sciences & creative arts and finally business & management. Out of all these fields some fields are extended for the courses of the post graduate level and even doctoral levels, these fields include engineering, allied sciences & creative arts and business & management.

The admissions to the university are done via two different ways. One of the ways is to be appeared and passed the central entrance examinations like AIEEE, CAT, MAT, SAT, GMAT, ENAT, EMAT, UPSEE and based upon their merit list and counseling that the candidate opts for this university. This includes a direct admission to the university without any other exam to be given by the student but if the student does not appear in any such exam then the student is required to fill out the university form upon which the university conducts its exam with the name of SURE i.e. Sharda University Record Examination wherein the mental aptitude along with analytical ability and problem solving.
