the afcat exam consists of 2 stages
objective written exam
ssb interview
the written exam mainly comprises questions from your technical subjects and basic sciences.a knowledge of the fundamentals of each subject and learning of formulaes is sufficient to clear the exam.
the selected candidates are called for ssb interview which is tough to crack since majority of candidates are eliminated within the very first day.always have a positive outlook while giving answers to questions they ask.also the ssb is generally held in 3 cities-
dehradun
benaras
mysore
