Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering (CRCE) is affiliated to University of Mumbai. It aims at the excellent ambience for the students as well as faculty. The college wants the true dedication and commitment to develop a strong relationship. The academic environment has been developed to have a surety about the effective learning process. Regress assessment and a good feedback system are followed to have a continuous participation from the students.

Campus

The college provides the numerous computer labs and facilities. It consists of a wonderful library with an amazing collection. The hostel facilities are as per the convenience of the students spread in an area of 3200 sq. ft.

Courses Offered

There are four Under Graduate Programmes (4 years) i.e. Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Production Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering and Information Engineering. There are 60 seats in every course. It also offers post graduation programme i.e. Masters of Engineering. M.E. is available in Production Engineering (part time of 3 ½ yr.) with 10 seats, Mechanical Engineering (full time of 2 years) with 18 seats and Electronics Engineering (full time of 2 years) with 18 seats.

Admission Procedure

The students are selected on the basis of Maharashtra CET and AIEEE. Admissions are done centrally by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra as per rules and regulation prescribed by Department of Higher Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra each year. However, the admission of second year diploma holder is done by a direct admission filled by centralised admission procedure by DTE.

Placements

The college has the good track record as far as placements are concerned. Both the visiting companies as well as number of number of students placed will be attracted for the new students. Some of the well known visiting companies are: Infosys, TCS, Godrej, L&T, Seimens, Patni and many more.
