Candidates are invited to apply for the posts of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in University of Madras:

1. Recruitment of Professor:
No. of posts: Only 11 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 + Grade Pay of Rs. 10000.

2. Recruitment of Associate Professor:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 + Grade Pay of Rs. 9000.

3. Recruitment of Assistant Professor:
No. of posts: Only 82 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6000.

Age Limit:

Candidates should not be more than the prescribed maximum age limit set for the post.

Selection Process:

THe selection criteria set for the above three specified posts includes a written test followed by a personal interview examination on specified date.
