Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission was established on November 1, 1956 under the Government of India. The commission comes under the Minsitry of Home Affairs of Government of India and the bank was established under Section 118 of the State Reorganization Act. The major function of the commission is to conduct competitive examniation for making the recruitment on the government posts in the state of the Madhya Pradesh

Job Profile:

Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission is inviting applications from eligible candidates for applying for the post of Assistant Engineer and Manager (Technical). The post of Assistant Engineer is available in Civil and Electrical & Mechanical field. Candidates will be recruited in the MP Government Water Resources Department and MP Road Development Corporation.

1. Recruitment of Assistant Engineer (Civil):
No. of posts: Only 60 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be in between 21 to 30 years as on 1 January 2012.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

Post of Assistant Engineer (Civil) is available in Water Resource Department.

2. Recruitment of Assistant Engineer (E&M- Electrical and Mechanical):
No. of posts: Only 15 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be in between 21 to 30 years as on 1 January 2012.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

Post of Assistant Engineer (E&M- Electrical and Mechanical) is available in Water Resource Department.

3. Recruitment of Manager (Technical):
No. of posts: Only 4 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be in between 21 to 30 years as on 1 January 2012.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

Post of Assistant Engineer (Civil) is available in Road Development Corporation.

Application Fee:

General and OBC categories candidates are required to submit an application fee of Rs. 180 only + Rs. 30 as portal fee. SC/ST candidates will have to submit an application of Rs. 90 instead of Rs. 180. The application fee must be paid online only through credit card, debit card or net banking. Submission of the requisite application fee is need to be done before the last date for the submission of the application fee.

Selection Process:

Shortlisted candidates will have to face a written test that will be held on 28 August 2011. Successfull candidates of this written test, will the be called for the personal interview test. The final decision on the selection of candidates will be made only on the basis of the result of the written and personal interview test.

How to apply: Candidates should apply online only at the website of Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission. The registration link for the online application will be available from 20 May 2011 onwards. Candidates should apply online only at the website on or before the last date i.e. 20 June 2011. Applications recieved after due date will not be considered by the commission.
