T. N. B. College, Bhagalpur
T.N.B. College was established in the year 1883 on the 12th of February with intermediate courses and initially the college was affiliated to the University of Calcutta since there was no university in the state of Bihar at that time. The college was named in remembrance of Mr. Raj Bahadur Tej Narayan Singh, who contributed a large sum of money towards the development of the college building. In the year 1959, the college became a constituent college of Bihar University and after the separation of a new university called Bhagalpur University from Bihar University, the college became the first constituent college of Bhagalpur University in the year 1960. In the year 2004, the National Assessment and Accreditation Council has approved the college with B grade status.
Courses Offered:
The college is offering intermediate courses and bachelor (hons.) in arts and science streams. The college is also offering some vocational courses and the list of subjects covered under each of these streams is given below:

Apart from above-mentioned courses, the college is proposing to introduce B. Ed course as well.
Eligibility criteria:
For intermediate courses, the candidates must have completed class 10 examination and for Bachelor of arts and science courses, the candidates must have completed intermediate/higher secondary examination with 45% of marks in the appropriate subjects.
Admission procedure:
Admission is made on the basis of the marks secured by the students in the qualifying examination and for Bio-technology and BCA alone, candidates must get through the entrance test conducted the college.
College library:
The library of the college is functioning in a two-storied building and it is offering online library facility as well apart from offering newspapers and magazines and textbooks for reference.
