M.N. College was established in the year 1946 and the college is affiliated to Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University located at Patan. The college was established with the help of donation given by Late Sheth Shri Maneklal Nachand and so it was given this name in his honor. The college is holding the pride of being the only Government college in the whole area falling between Ajmer and Ahmedabad.

College Library:

M.N. College is provided with a library that has a collection of around 50000 books worth Rs. 10 lakhs. The library offers several facilities like reference section and separate reading halls for the sake of students and staff members. Above all, the college is subscribing to all important journals and newspapers that are of great use for reference purposes, not only to the students, but for staff members as well. The college is offering a scheme called ‘poor boys library’, through which the poor students are offered books at a nominal charge.

Other facilities in the college:

In addition to the college library, the students are provided with other facilities like sports ground, English language lab, N.C.C, and N.S.S., which contribute towards the overall development of the students. Some other facilities like consumer store and post office are also functioning in the campus of the college.
