Profile:

National Research Centre For Litchi was founded on June 6, 2001 under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. The institute is resonsible for performing research for the enhancement of the profit of Litchi growers by eveloving improved varieties. Development of better production technologies, integrated pest management and post harvest management are some other functions performed by the centre. The centre works on the belief that India has good potential for the cultivation of Litchi in the country and also to have a large market of it.

Job Profile:

1. Recruitment of Technical-3 (Filed or Farm Technician):
Age Limit: Candidates should be in between 18 to 30 years.
Educational Qualifciation: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Horticulture or any other relevant branch is required.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of 2800.

2. Recruitment of Technician-1 (Filed or Farm Technician):
Age Limit: Candidates should be in between 18 to 30 years.
Educational Qualifciation: Matriculation from a recognized board is must. Atleast one year certificate from a recognized institution in the relevant field is also required.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of 2000.

3. Recruitment of Technical-1 (Lab Technician):
Age Limit: Candidates should be in between 18 to 30 years.
Educational Qualifciation: Matriculation from a recognized board is must. Atleast one year certificate from a recognized institution in the relevant field is also required.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of 2000.

4. Recruitment of Lower Division Clerk:
Age Limit: Candidates should be in between 18 to 27 years.
Educational Qualifciation: 12th pass or equivalent from a recognized board is must. Candidates should also have a good typing speed on Computer.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of 1900.

Application Fee:

The application fee of Rs. 100 is totally non refundable. Candidates are required to be pay this fee in the form of a Demand Draft. DD must be made in any nationalized bank in the favour of ICAR Unit, National Research Centre for Litchi payable at Muzaffarpur.
