Indian Institute of Natural Resins and Gums was formerly known as Indian Lac Research Institute. It was established as a nodal institute which works on national level. The major objective of the institute is to perform research and development activities on all aspects of lac and other natural gums & resins. The institute was founded on September 20, 1924 at Ranchi. The administrative control of the institute was taken over by the Indian Council of Agriculture Research on April 1, 1966. This is also one of the oldest institute within ICAR.

Job Profile:

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Stenographer Grade-III in Indian Institute of Natural Resins and Gums. Selected candidates will have to work on contract basis for the probation period of two years.

Eligibility:

Candidates should be less than 18 years of age. But the maximum age limit for the specified post is 27 years i.e. candidate’s age should not exceed 27 years.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should have done atleast Matriculation from recognized board. Knowledge of computer and good communication skills are essential. Candidates with Graduation as their qualification will be preffered over others.

No. of posts: Several posts are available.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be paid according to Pay Band 1 i.e. Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.

Application Fee:

Candidates are required to pay Rs. 400 as the application fee for applying on the specified post. The application fee must be paid in the form of a crossed bank draft of any branch of SSI. The Demand Draft should de drawn in favour of ICAR Unit, IINRG, Namkum payable at SBI.

Selection Process:

Only a good performance from candidates in the personal interview test is enough for ensuring their selection on the specified post of Stenographer in Indian Institute of Natural Resins and Gums.
