Jagannath Institute of Technology & Management shortly called as JITM was established in the year 1997 under the JITM Trust. The institute was established with the objective of bringing technical education to the rural areas in order to produce highly skilled technical manpower with good caliber for different sectors. The institution was initially affiliated to Berhampur University and later in the year 2003, it got affiliation from Biju Pattnaik University of Technology.

Admission Procedure:

JITM admits students on the basis of rules and regulations fixed by Biju Patnaik University of Technology from time to time. Admission is done on the basis of marks secured by the students in the Orissa Joint Entrance Examination and students with valid AIEEE score can also apply.

Placement:

JITM has branches at Vizag, and Bhubaneswar as well and students are offered with the facility to participate in the recruitment process at these centers. Several companies like Satyam Computers, Aryans Infoway, Miracle software, Birlasoft, L&T, OCL, etc…has visited JITM to recruit talents to their organization.

Library at JITM:

The campus of JITM includes a central library called as Dr. Y. V.N. Rao Memorial library and it is a well-resourced library with adequate number of magazines, journals and books. The library offers several facilities like book bank facility, book package facility and digital library with internet for the students.

Infrastructure:

In addition to the central library, the institute offers several infrastructural facilities like transportation, sports & recreation, residential halls, seminar and lecture halls.
