The Indian institute of Management in Indore was established in the year 1996 and is currently ranked sixth among the most prestigious B-schools i.e. the IIMs. Situated in Indore there is a large 193 acre campus which is well and fully equipped with all modern facilities and comforts. The institute is located near the industrial belt in India and which provides hands on experience to the students and thus is very beneficial for them.

The IIM Indore conducts various programmes under various categories of management like academic programmes (PGP, FPM, and EPGP), executive programmes (MDP, customized programmes, BBB, MEP and some others) and some other programmes also.

The IIM Indore has wide and spacious classrooms, a central library supporting all the courses offered by the institute which has books, journals and CDs for the students. IIM also gives hostel facilities to its students through various hostels connected in the form of blocks. They all have fully furnished shelves, Computer tables and environment for studies. The students can also keep themselves busy in doing sporty activities while they are having free time, since IIM Indore provides space and grounds for many sports.

To get admission in IIM Indore the students are required to fill in CAT (common aptitude test) form that is each year conducted by IIMs. It is an aptitude test that tests your fundamental quantitative, logical reasoning and data interpretation, and verbal abilities. The test is available online and is conducted by Prometric services at various centres across India. After clearing the test i.e. securing a percentile that is within a range where IIM Indore invites applications, the students are required to appear for Interviews and some internal examinations that may constitute GD (Group discussions), Essay writing etc.

The IIMs all over India have an excellent placement usually more than 100% and so it is worth the fees it asks for the courses.
