Profile:

Kerala Public Service Commission was formed on November 1, 1956 i.e approximatley 54 years ago. The commission was established by the Constitution of India to serve the region of Kerala. Mr. K. V. Salahuddin is the chairman of the commission. It has a stff of apprximatley 1500 members. The head office of the commission is located at Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram. It has three regional offices and fourteen distrcit offices. The major function performed by the commission is the recruitment of candidates for civil services jobs in the state of Kerala according to the merit of candidates.

Job Profile:

Candidates are invited to apply for the posts of Dairy Extension Officer in Kerala Public Service Commission depending on their educational qualification and experience. All candidates will be placed in the state of Kerala only.

Eligibility:

Candidates should have age less than the prescribed minimum age limit i.e. 20 years and also not more than the 36 years of age which is the prescribed maximum age limit. Candidates should be born between 2 January 1974 and 1 January 1990 (both dates inclusive). Age relaxation will be provided to the reserved category candidates only as per government rules.

Educational Qualification:

B.Sc. in Dairy Science or B.Tech is Dairy Science and Technology from a recognized institute is required. Candidates possessing the required degree from National Dairy Research Institute under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research can also apply for the specified post of Dairy Extension Officer in Kerala Public Service Commission.

Pay Scale: All selected candidates will get the consolidated salary of Rs. 11070-18450 per month during their training period. Increased amount of salary will be provided to the candidates after the successfull completion of their training period.

Selection Process:

Candidate’s selection on the above specified post of Dairy Extension Officer in Kerala Public Service Commission will be made strictly on the basis of the result or performance of candidates in the interview session with the selection committee. The selection committee will be organized by Kerala Public Service Commission only.
