Job Profile:
Bank of India invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of General banking Officers (Both Scale I and Scale II) and clerks. The posts are for North East states - Assam, Manipur, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim & Tripura. Even candidates belonging to other states can apply.

Eligibility:
Educational Qualification: The candidates must satisfy specific educational qualification for each post. For complete details refer the bank’s website www.bankofindia.com. Certificate in computer and proficiency in local language are required for all posts.
Age Criteria: General Banking Scale I Officer– 21yrs to 30 yrs; General Banking Officer (Scale II) -21 yrs to 33 yrs; Clerk - 18 yrs to 28 yrs. The rules of the Bank of India permit relaxation of age limit.
Selection Process:
The candidates are selected for the posts through objective and descriptive type written examination, and personal interview. For full details of written examination, candidates can refer the bank’s website.
Date of Written test – 06.03.2011 (For General Banking officers); and 13.3.2011(For clerk)

Interested eligible candidates must apply online through the bank’s website www.bankofindia.com only after paying the fees on or before the last date.
Fee for applying:
Rs. 400 (For General Banking officers) and Rs.250 (For clerk) must be paid at any branches of Bank of India with the given challan by Jan 3, 2011. There is no fee for SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen candidates.
