Bank of India has its headquarter located at Mumbai. The bank was founded in the year 1906 as a state owned commercial bank. The bank was nationalized in the year 1969. Mr. Alok Kumar Mishra is the Managing Director of the bank. The bank is considered as the fourth largest bank of India after SBI, PNB and BoB. There are total 3415 branches of the bank spreaded in different states of India and overseas as well. The bank is also a founder member of Society for Worldwide Inter Bank Financial Telecommunications. The bank has the net income of Rs. 2488.71 crore.

Job Profile:

Applications are invited in the prescribed format from eligible Indian nationals for filling up the posts of Incharge in Bank of India. Selected candidates will have to work as an Incharge in Star Swarojgar Prakshishan Sansthan under Bank of India. Applying candidates, should ensure their eligibility for the post in advance as applications recieved from uneligible candidates will not be entertained or considered by the bank under any circusmtances. Vacanbcies are available in the state of Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Orissa, West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh.

Eligibility:

Candidates must have age below than the prescribed maximum age limit set for the post of Incharge in Bank of India. The maximum age limit set for the post is 65 years as on 1 November 2011. Candidates are also required to be physically fit and should meet with all the physical conditions. Relaxation may be provided to the candidates belonging to reserved categories. The relaxation will be provided as per the rules of Government of India.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should have done Graduation or Post Graduation degree from a recognized university of University Grants Commission. However, preference will be given to the candidates possessing the higher qualification. Candidates should also be a retired bank office who has worked in the MMGS Scale-III cadre in any Public Sector bank. Those candidates (or retired officers) who have taken VRS are also eligible to apply for the specified post in Bank of India.

Vacancies for General candidates: Only 22 posts are available.
Vacancies for SC candidates: Only 6 posts are available.
Vacancies for ST candidates: Only 3 posts are available.
Vacancies for OBC candidates: Only 12 posts are available.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the consolidated amount of salary i.e. Rs. 30000 per month.

Application Fee:

All interested candidates are required to submit the prescribed amount of application fee for applying for the specified position in Bank of India. The submission of the application fee must be made by the means of a payment challan only which can be easily downloaded from the webiste of the bank. The payment of application fee must be made in cash only.

The registration link for applying online at the website, will be made available from 9 November 2011 onwards. Also, candidates should apply online at the website on or before the last date for online application.
