How to prepare for Association Management of Unaided Private Medical and Dental Colleges Entrance Exam?

The Association Management of Unaided Private Medical and Dental Colleges is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of the entrance exam. This exam is conducted for admission to various dental and medical courses in unaided private dental and medical colleges. The medical colleges are approved by Medical Councils of India and Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. The dental colleges are approved by Dental council of India. There are eleven medical colleges and twenty one private dental colleges in Maharashtra for which admission is conducted by common entrance test. A large number of candidates appear for this exam every year. There are more than 7000 seats available for various courses. The candidate should have completed higher secondary exam or equivalent exam from the recognized board or university. They should have minimum of 50% marks in chemistry, physics and biology subjects.

Structure of the Exam

The candidates who have written their final degree test can apply for this exam. The Entrance Exam consists of 200 objective type questions with multiple choices. The duration of this test is 3 hours. There is no negative marking for incorrect answer.

Syllabus of the Exam

The questions are from physics, chemistry and Biology subjects. The physics section will get 50 questions. This subject covers the Introduction and Measurement, Description of Motion in One Dimension, Description of Motion in Two and Three Dimensions, Waves, Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetism, etc. The chemistry section will have 50 questions and it covers Introduction to p-block elements, Group-wise study of the p-block Elements, Hydrocarbons, etc.

The Biology section will have 100 questions and it covers the syllabus of Diversity in Living World, the Unit of Life, Structure and Function, Structure and Function – Plants, Genetics and Evolution, Reproduction, Growth and Movement in Plants, Ecology and Environment, etc. Medical Entrance test requires more concentration and the candidate has to work hard in order to clear their test. They have to do deep analysis of theory and practical work. The candidate should start their preparation by self relaxation without any tension. Therefore, they can concentrate more on their studies.  The candidate has to practice previous year question papers. They can find this question paper online. This will help to analyze their preparation as well they can rectify their mistakes.
