Re: How can I achieve my goal of becoming a doctor after passing 12th?
For becoming a doctor you must pass 10+2 with subjects like Physics , Chemistry and Biology. After passing 10+2 with above subjects you can give entrance examination for getting a good college. The entrance exam will test your knowledge in the subjects of Physics, chemistry and biology. The syllabus will be from 11th and 12th class hence you have to be well prepared for it. There will be a single entrance exam known as NEET from 2013 . Hence you don't have to fill multiple forms for different entrance examination. Try to get a very good rank so that you get a government college. In private colleges the fee is very high compared to government colleges and seats in government colleges are very less so you have to get a very good rank. Re: How can I achieve my goal of becoming a doctor after passing 12th?
DEAR FRIEND
To become a Doctor you have to opt for physics,Chemistry and Biology in 10+2. After passing 10+2 with above subject combinations with decent marks you can apply for various medical entrance examination. For getting admission in to top medical college you have to get a very good rank in the entrance examination. You can opt for any of the following course to become a doctor: -MBBS -BAMS (Ayurvedic) -BHMS (Homeopathy) -BVSC (Veterinary) -BUMS (Unani) -BPT (Bachelor in physiotherapy) - Alternative treatment method used almost in most of the top Hospitals. MBBS is the most popular course and most of the students opt for other courses only when they do not get admission into MBBS. So be prepared for the entrance examination because getting admission into a government college in very difficult if you don't get a top rank. In private colleges the fee is very high and if you are from a middle class family then it will be very difficult for you to pay the fee and you will have to take an education loan. The entrance exam will have objective type questions related to physic, chemistry and biology. The syllabus will be from 11th and 12th class. So revise whatever you have studied in the 10+2. Some of the top medical colleges in India are: -AIIMS , New Delhi -JIPMER , Pondicherry -BHU , Varanasi -KGMU , Lucknow -AFMC, Pune -Kasturba Medical College, Manipal -Christian Medical College, Ludhiana For more information visit http://www.cbseneet.nic.in |
