It is accepted that selecting students for the MBBS course is fairly difficult and not totally effective.

MBBS goal is to select the most capable students to attend the college and to have a balanced, but heterogeneous group that will excel in both the art
and science of medicine. We recognize that a diverse student body promotes an atmosphere of creativity,
experimentation and discussion that is conducive to
learning. Exposure to a variety of perspectives and
experiences prepares students to care for patients in
all walks of life and in every segment of society.
Considered individually, age, colour, gender, race,
national origin, religion, status as a disability are not
determinants of diversity and are not identified as
unique characteristics during the admissions process.

THE ABOUT MENTIONED IS THE SELECTION CRITERIA OF MBBS.

Dear Friend,

At first you have to pass 12th with (P,C,B) with more than 50 % in aggregate and also you have to score more than 30 % in English for any MBBS exam.

The age limit will vary and is between 18 to 30

all the best.

Hi

MBBS is basically a full time 5 years medical graduation program. It stands for the Bachelors in Medical Studies.

This course is one of the most toughest and reputed courses in anywhere in the whole world.

It is a graduation program to become a doctor.

Now talking about the Eligibility Conditions to sit for the MBBS entrances or take up MBBS are :-

1. You should be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized school or any state board in India with a minimum 60% aggregate in it.

2. You must have studied BIOLOGY as a compulsory subject along with any other science subjects like Physics and Chemistry.

3. The minimum age to take this up is 17 years, however there is no maximum age limit that is prescribed.

4. Even graduates can apply for this, provided they are from the medical background like B.SC (Biology) etc.

5. You must clear any of the All India PMT's or CET's to get in any good medical colleges ir universities.

Thus anybody who fulfills these can easily take up MBBS and study it for the next 5 years to become a doctor.

Hope this helps

All the best

Regards
RANJEET
