Gujarat University offers the course of M.Ed to the eligible candidates. There are a total of seven papers offered in the M. ED course, which are:
•    Educational Administration or Educational & Vocational Guidance
•    Educational Measurement & Evaluation
•    Elements of Educational Research: Paper – I
•    Philosophical & Sociological Foundation of Education: Paper-III
•    Psychological Foundations of Education
•    Psychological Testing or Educational Leadership & Educational Institutional Evaluation
•    Statistical Methods

Each of the paper has a maximum of one hundred marks and has a total duration of three hours. Each of the question papers are divided into two sections namely Section I and Section II.
Section I has a total of two main questions. The first main question is offered in three batches, out of which candidates have to attempt only one. The second main question carries around seven sub-questions and candidates have to attempt any five. Each of the sub-question has to be attempted in 125 words. The first and second main question carries a maximum of fifteen marks and twenty five marks respectively.

Section II has a total of two main questions. The first main question has three sub-questions, from where candidates have to attempt any two and have to answer in 200 words. The question carries twenty marks. The second main question carries seven sub-questions, out of which five to be answered in 150 words and each carries six marks.
