Vimla Vikram Mahavidyalay came into existence in the year 2009 as a co-education non-minority institution. The college is offering arts, science and teacher education courses with affiliation from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University situated at Faizabad.

Vimla Vikram Mahavidyalay is offering the following courses:

• Bachelor of Commerce

• Bachelor of Arts

• Bachelor of Education

Eligibility for admission:

For getting admission to the bachelor of arts and commerce courses offered by Vimla Vikram Mahavidyalay, candidates must have completed their higher secondary examination with not less than 45% of marks. For B. Ed course, candidates with a minimum of 45% of marks in the UG/PG degree or equivalent examination can apply.

In the case of candidates falling under SC/ST and OBC category, a relaxation of 5% of marks is allowed. The reservation of seats for candidates falling under SC/ST/OBC category shall be made by the college in accordance with the norms issued by the state/central government.

Academic Session:

For all three courses offered by Vimla Vikram Mahavidyalay, there shall be 200 working days apart from period of admission and examination. In the case of B. Ed students, at least 40 days out of these 200 days will be practical teaching class in senior secondary/secondary and upper primary school. A working day will have a minimum of six hours of class for six days in a week.
