Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre was established in the year 1963 under Indian Federal Government. The space centre is named after the Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, who was a famous Indian scientist. The space centre has its headquarter located at Trivandrum which is in Kerala. Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre comes under the Indian Space Research Organisation, which is the parent agency of the centre. The major function of the space centre is to focus on rocket and space vehicles for the satellite programme of the country.

Job Profile:

Candidates can apply for the posts of Scientist/Engineer in Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre depending on their qualification and experience in the relevant field.

Eligibility:

Candidates should not be more than the maximum age limit set for the post of Scientist or Engineer in Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre.

Educational Qualification:

M.E. or M.Tech with atleast 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized institute or university is required for applying for the post of Scientist/Engineer in Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get the prescribed amount of salary i.e. Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.
