Tamil Nadu Open University is very much famous amongst the Open universities. Like other Open Universities in India it also offers distance education to the candidates, which has made this University so much popular. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree which adds meaning to your BA/MA degree and helps you in getting a job in any of the recognized schools in India is also offered here. The students have to study various subject, including Curriculum and Instruction, under this course. This paper is in the first year of the course.

Time Allotted:

The time given to the students to complete the paper is three hours.  The maximum marks that can be obtained by a student in the in the paper are seventy five.

Paper Division:

The paper has three divisions or sections with different section carrying different marks questions.

Pattern of Paper:

In the first section, Part A, one needs to do two questions out of three. In this section each question is of fifteen marks. Thus this section basically carries thirty marks. Instructions are there to complete these questions in word limit of seven hundred and fifty. In the next section, Part B one needs to answer five questions out of eleven questions. Each question is of six marks. This makes a total of thirty marks in this section.  The answers in this section should not be more than three hundred words each. In the last section, Part C, there are five questions carrying three marks each making a total of fifty marks and all the questions are compulsory. There are no options in this section. Thus one needs to prepare well for this section. The word limit specified for this section is one hundred and fifty words.
