Dr. B. D. Jatti Homoeopathic Medical College was set up in the year in 1992. The college is located at Dharwad in the State of Karnataka. The college works under the control of Shri R.F. Niralkatti Educational society and it is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.

The college is approved by the Government of Karnataka and is recognized by the Govt. of Karnataka and the Central Council of Homoeopathy (CCH), New Delhi. The college provides excellent education in Homoeopathic Medicine through excellent infrastructural facilities.

Courses offered:

The Dr. B. D. Jatti Homoeopathic Medical College offers the following undergraduate and post graduate courses in Homoeopathic Medicine:

The undergraduate course available in the college is BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery). The duration of the course is 4 1/2 years duration plus compulsory Internship of one year.

The post graduate course available in the college is M. D. (Horn.) with specializations in Materia Medica, Organon of Medicine & Homoeopathic Philosophy, and Repertory. The duration of the course is three years including one year of house job.

Eligibility criteria for getting admission:

Candidates who have successfully passed 10+2 examination in science stream or its equivalent with at least 45% marks are eligible to apply for the BHMS course. They must get qualified in the online entrance test given on the website of the college in order to get admission for the BHMS course in the college.

Candidates who have passed B.H.M.S or its equivalent examination with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for the M. D. (Horn.) course. They must get qualified in the online entrance test given on the website of the college in order to get admission for the M. D. (Horn.) course.
