CISF Ltd Departmental Competitive Exam, General Ability and Professional Skills Papers
UPSC holds an annual based exam for recruiting candidates in the CISF department. It is a limited departmental competitive exam, held in the paper of General Ability as well as in the Professional paper. The standard of the exam is very high and has to be prepared well, to maximize the chance of clearing the exam.
Division or Section in the paper:
There are two division or section in the paper, Section A or General Ability, and Section B or Professional Skills.
Pattern of the paper:
The paper has a total of one hundred and fifty Objective based question. Each has a maximum of four options, and candidates have to choose any one. Both of the section, Section A and Section B, carries seventy-five Objective based question.
Markings evaluated by the Examination Board:
The total mark offered by the paper is three hundred. Each of the questions when answered correctly is awarded with two marks. There are no negative marking in the paper, and questions which are not attempted are treated with zero narks.
Time allotted for the examination:
The maximum time offered by the Examination Board in order to complete the exam is two and a half hours.
