The Political Science paper is an important paper for the humanities students. This paper is about the social science that deals with the detailed knowledge of politics, political systems and political behavior.

How the Paper looks like?

The political science paper is full 100 marks paper. The time limit for this examination is 3 hours. Each question has word limits so as to constrain the students from writing long answers which revolve around one single point. Marks distribution is according to the questions. There are a total of 30 questions which are sub divided into various parts according to the marks and word limit. The question pattern always remains almost same.

For students to score high marks they must have deep knowledge of the subject. Human rights, UNO, India’s relation with foreign countries, liberalization, and globalism are few important topics which are frequently asked in this paper. How are the marks distributed?

The question paper contains 30 questions which are divided into different parts according to the marks allotted to the question as well word limit of that question. There are five parts. The first ten questions are very short type questions, maximum words limit is 30 words and each question carries 2marks. Questions 11 to 18 are short type questions, maximum words limit being 50 words and each question carries 3marks. Questions 19 to 24 are also short question type but word limit is 75 words and marks for each question is 3marks. Questions 25 to 28 are long type; word limit of 150 words and marks for each question is 5marks. Questions 29 and 30 are very long type; word limit 200 words and marks allotted for each question is 6marks.

Maximum Time for the examination

Students have to complete their paper within a time span of 3 hours.
