Marathwada Institute of Technology came into existence in the year 1986. The institute is situated in the Aurangabad district of Maharashtra. This ISO 9001:2000 certified institute works under the control of the Gramodyogik Shikshan Mandal.

The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India, New Delhi and is recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra. It is affiliated to the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad and it offers undergraduate courses in the field of engineering as per the rules and norms of the AICTE.

Eligibility criteria for getting admission:

Candidates, who have passed in 10+2 examination (in Physics, chemistry and Mathematics subjects) with minimum of 50% marks, are eligible to apply for the B. Tech and B. Arch courses. They must get qualified in the MHT-CET / AIEEE entrance examination in order to get admission for the B. Tech and B. Arch courses in the college.
