Kuvempu University is a famous university of Karnataka. This university has a large number of post-graduate, under-graduate and diploma courses.  This university has courses in subjects like Arts, Commerce, Science, Education and even Law. There a number of colleges affiliated to this University. These colleges provide various degree courses. B.Sc. in Botany is a well known course under this university. University B.Sc. Botany Paper-II: Gymnosperms, Pale botany, Anatomy, Embryology and Ecology Paper is one of the prime papers in the first year course of B.Sc. This subject gives an extensive idea of plant life, development, reproduction, metabolism, role in ecosystem, etc.

Paper pattern

This paper has 4 sections. Each section has a different type of questions viz. simple answer type questions, short answer type questions, medium answer type questions and long answer type questions. The simple answer type questions are mainly objective type. Each question carries 1 mark and there is 10 such question in the paper. Answers to these questions can be a single statement or phrase.  Short answer type question carries 3 marks and there are 5 such questions. Medium answer type question also has 5 questions but each question carries 6 marks. The long answer type questions are of 10 marks each and there is 3 such type of questions.

The total marks for the paper is 85.

A maximum of 3 hours is allotted for the paper.
