Physiology, plant breeding and tissue culture is a crucial paper of Botanical Science. The paper is included in B. Sc. Level in Kuvempu University which is a famous college in the field of Botanical science. The paper contains chapters or topics like plant tissue culture, plant propagation, elimination of disease in the plants, tissue culture, growth of plants and their regulations, factors affecting metabolism in plants, progress in micro propagation and many more. The subject is thoroughly practical and it needs to be demonstrated among the students in a highly equipped laboratory. The samples of each test materials should be available in the laboratory for the purpose of testing and conducting experiments. The subject is scoring in a sense that if you can write up-to the point with appropriate diagram with it then your chances of scoring high becomes larger and also the paper is quite interesting as it is a real life based paper. Previously it used to be 75 marks paper, but University has changed the paper pattern a bit and marks allotted for Botany Paper IV is 85 and time given is same 3 hours.
