State Bank of Hyderabad, which is shortly called as SBH is a subsidiary of the State Bank of India and this bank was constituted on the 08th of August 1941 with its name as Hyderabad State Bank. The bank revealed its first branch on the 5th of April 1942 at Gunfoundry in the city of Hyderabad.

Recruitment by SBH:

SBI calls for application from eligible candidates for filling up probationary officer position in one of its subsidiary banks being State Bank of Hyderabad.

Name of the position: Probationary Officer

Number of Vacancies: 1458 (213 for SC, 106 for ST, 382 for OBC, 21 for OH, 21 for VH and 715 for General)

Period of Probation: Two years

Pay Scale: Initial pay of Rs. 14500 in the scale of Rs.14500-25700, which is applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale I. Selected candidates, will be eligible for DA, HRA and CCA according to the rules applicable from time to time.

Eligibility:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed their graduation from a recognized university or institution

Age: The minimum age requirement is 21 years and maximum age requirement is 30 years. In other words, candidates must have born after 2nd of June 1981 and before 1st of June 1990. For candidates falling under reserved category, relaxation of upper age limit is applicable. Application fee and postage:

Candidates will have to deposit a non-refundable deposit of Rs. 500 (fee for application + postage) (Rs. 50 for PWD/SC/ST category, which indicates postal charge alone) in any of the branches of SBI between the 02nd of June to 23rd of June 2011.

Selection Procedure:

The selection process is divided into two groups of which first is written test and the second phase is interview and GD.

Cash voucher will have to be downloaded from any of the websites like www.timesjobs.com, www.statebankofindia.com and www.sbi.co.in and the prescribed fee should be paid directly to any of the branches of SBI. They should apply online along with their scanned photography and signature through the website of SBI.

Date of Written Examination: 07th of August 2011
