Description about the subject

Microprocessor and Microcontroller subject deals with the study of different kinds of microchips. It deals with the architecture of 8085, 8086 and 8051 microchips. Study of interface of microchips, various addressing modes and sensory interfacing are discussed in detail. This all comprises the five modules of this subject.

Pattern of paper

Microprocessors and Microcontrollers paper is a written paper of hundred marks. It consists of seven questions out of which a student is required to answer five questions. Each question is of 20 marks. Apart from this written paper, 25 marks are for lab paper and 25 marks for term work.

Maximum time

For the 4th semester written paper for Microprocessors and Microcontrollers a total time of three hours is allotted.
