S.M. Patel College of Home Science came into existence in the year 1971 and the institute was established by the Charutar Vidya Mandal with the objective of offering education to the young women of Charutar. The building of the college was inaugurated in the year 1976 on the 24th of January.

Admission Process:
Admission to the above-mentioned courses offered by the S.M. Patel College of Home Science, is granted based on the merit secured in class 12 examination conducted by the higher education board of the state of Gujarat. Candidates must have completed their higher secondary in any of the following subjects:
• Common stream
• Home science
• Science
Not only Gujarat state board candidates, but also candidates who have completed their higher secondary examination from the Central Board of Secondary Education and candidates with Diploma in Home Science can apply to the college, however, these candidates should get eligibility certificate from the Sardar Patel University.

IHAVE PASSED MY XII FROM BIHAR BOARD & BSc HOMESCIENCE FROM RAJENDRA AGRICULTURE UNI. BIHAR . DID I GOT ADMISSION IN MSC.
